WHAT IS BARRE BODY?

Barre Body Fitness is a workout inspired by elements of ballet, Pilates & yoga.

The focus is on low-impact, high repetitive movements designed to sculpt and tone your body with grace, elegance and finesse.

But don’t be mistaken, SWEAT and muscle fatigue is 100% guaranteed.

BARRE BODY SESSIONS AT SANDOWN SWEAT

Our sessions are designed to boost your muscles endurance, improve your balance, increase your flexibility, promote better posture, and help with fat loss.
In your first session, it will take a few movements to get used to the idea of small, controlled pulsing movements. “When you hear us say pulse, that literally means just move an inch up and down for 8 pulses.” You will need to focus on contracting the target muscle, to get full benefit from this pulsing technique.

HOW DO I KNOW BARRE BODY IS FOR ME?

If you want to improve your muscle tone, posture, lose body fat, increase your core strength, become more flexible and learn the basics of ballet, then these Barre Body sessions at Sandown SWEAT are for you.

Do I need previous Ballet or Dance Experience? No, we will teach you enough of the basics of ballet to enjoy and follow along in our sessions.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR BARRE BODY SESSIONS?

Each of our sessions are designed to be a full-body workout, broken into different sections that focus on major muscle groups including the arms, thighs, glutes, and core.

The muscles in each of these group are fatigued with small targeted movements, high repetitions and light weight or resistance.

An example of a Barre Fitness exercise includes pulsing in a squat to target the glutes and quads, whilst performing a Tricep Extension to target the back of your arms. Or, doing a Tendu (a Ballet leg exercise) whilst performing a dumbbell shoulder side raise to target your shoulders.

Package One

Any TWO SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Two

Any THREE SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Three

UNLIMITED SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Four

ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.
