WHAT IS BODYWEIGHT TRAINING?

Bodyweight training is a method of training using the weight of your body.

Even though bodyweight training is a trendy training method now, it’s one of the oldest types of exercise. The origins of Bodyweight training trace back to the days of the Gladiator’s.

Two of the most popular bodyweight training exercises are push ups and pull ups. You start with the basics and as you get stronger, you learn how to make these bodyweight exercises harder to keep progressing with your training.

Bodyweight exercises can be done for all parts of your body and can address general or specific training goals.

These exercises can be done by people in any age gap including people with mobility issues.

BODYWEIGHT TRAINING SESSIONS AT SANDOWN SWEAT

We design these sessions for clients to; build full bodyweight strength, strengthen their deep core muscles & learn a new movement such as Handstands, Frogstands & Muscle Ups.

Using only your body weight for resistance — we create strength training workouts which can be as effective as training with free weights or resistance machines.

Once you can easily do 10 to 12 repetitions of a bodyweight exercise, we will show you how to progress the exercise by adding resistance to make it more challenging.

For example, you might start out doing a classic floor push up, once you can perform 10-12 reps with ease, we will elevate your feet or add resistance onto your upper back to increase the effort on your body during the push up.

HOW DO I KNOW BODYWEIGHT TRAINING IS FOR ME?

If you want to get incredibly strong, master your own bodyweight, improve the stability of your joints & learn a new movement, then our Bodyweight Training sessions are for you.

Also, if you are prone to injury, then these sessions are for you as we will ensure your joints strengthen, your muscle improve flexibility & you strengthen your deep core muscles. These results are what will limit your chances of injury in the future.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR
BODYWEIGHT TRAINING SESSIONS?

You can expect strength gains, muscle gains, full body control and learning to Handstand, Muscle Up and Frogstand.

During these sessions our goal as trainers is based on performance of your body & coaching you through new movement patterns.

These sessions are not designed for weight loss, toning & general fitness.

OUR RATES:

Package One

Any TWO SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Two

Any THREE SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Three

UNLIMITED SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Four

ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.
