WHAT IS FUNCTIONAL TRAINING?

This training style incorporates natural day to day movements into a strength & fitness session designed to strengthen the body to function, perform and move with more energy, strength and fewer injuries.

A variety of functional equipment and bodyweight is used to get results.

Functional training mirrors your everyday actions like lifting, walking, carrying and bending so moving becomes easier.

FUNCTIONAL TRAINING SESSIONS AT SANDOWN SWEAT

These sessions help train your muscles to prepare you for movements and tasks you may do on any given day. It’s a full body workout, often working the upper and lower parts simultaneously, with a focus on building muscle memory and improving core strength.
We often incorporate Kettlebells & Dumbbells which is ideal for improving your general strength & fitness as it not only focuses on building strength and improving muscle tone, but also incorporates cardio and flexibility training to give you a full body workout.

It’s all down to your body doing what it was meant to functionally do. So, the next time you stretch to reach for your phone or bend to get something from the bottom cupboard, you’re more flexible and able to do so.

These sessions are for you if you’re looking to lose fat, improve overall fitness and general strength for the business of life. It’s a great full-body workout for those looking to tick all the boxes and get a great workout in under an hour.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR
FUNCTIONAL TRAINING SESSIONS?

We are experts in our fields. Our equipment is of the highest standard – all you need to bring is a water bottle, sweat towel and comfy, non-slip gym shoes.

While our studio is spacious, we keep or groups small so that you get individual attention and correction throughout the session. We have also structured our sessions in a way that allows you to join at any time during the year and increase intensity as you improve.

OUR RATES:

Package One

Any TWO SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Two

Any THREE SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Three

UNLIMITED SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.

Package Four

ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS per week. The 9 Month Subscription includes body fat assessment and eating plan.
